Terms and Conditions

Fabric 

Fabrics are cut to order, off the bolt and are sold by the half (0.5) Metre. If you require more than 0.5m, you can adjust the quantity in your basket by typing the amount you need (0.5m to i.e 3m). We try to use manufacturers' pictures of the products, however when this is not possible we do our best to take the best quality photos of each item. We appreciate it is somsetimes difficult to see exact colours, tones, patterns and textures when looking at fabric online, therefore we do offer samples of the fabrics which can be posted to you, please email us for details. 

Pattern Kits

All of our sew-yourself pattern kits are designed, written, and made by Solstitch. These remain property of Solstitch, and are not to be copied and resold. 

Returns

We accept returns within 28 days from the date of purchase, provided all items are returned in the condition you received them (as new). Please contact us before sending any items back to us. We cannot refund you for fabric if you have cut, or washed it. We also cannot accept returns for any cut lengths of fabric or trims unless it is faulty or damaged. We offer a choice of a refund back on to the card you used to pay with, or a credit against your next purchase provided the purchase is immediate. If you are returning any faulty of damaged goods we will refund you your postage to return it back to us. We advice sending any goods back by a signed for service.

Cancellations

If you wish to cancel an order you have just placed please do this as soon as possible. All orders made before 1pm are posted out that same day (except on weekends and bank holidays), all orders placed after 1pm, will be posted out the following working day. We will cancel your order and issue you with a full refund. If the order has already be posted to you, we can only issue you with a refund for the product itself not postage, this will be done once you have posted the item back to us. We cannot cover postage costs for this. 

Privacy Policy, Data Protection Act (1998)

We use contact information (name, email address, delivery address, telephone number) supplied by our customers to communicate with them regarding their orders, delivery, and resolve any queries they may have. We do send out news letters updating our customers about the shop, and any special offers we have on at the time, customers can opt out of receiving these emails at any time. 

Solstitch are committed to ensuring your privacy is protected. 

We may collect the following information:

  • Name
  • Contact information including email address
  • Billing and postal address

We require this information to respond to any queries you may have, to process and post your order out to you, to send newsletters, or information about special offers on our products, Solstitch updates - these can be opted out of at any time

Payments

Payments are made through either Sage pay SSL security or Paypal. Both these methods are secure, and legimate. Card details are not seen by us or saved. 

We do not sell, distribute or lease any of your personal information to third parties

Remittance Terms

Please note that all goods must be paid for in full before shipping. Goods remain property of Solstitch until payment is received in full.
